Welcome to The Crown Estate's consultation website on the possibility of using land west of Blandford to help meet future local housing need.

North Dorset District Council is in the process of preparing its Local Plan which will determine the location of new housing within the district.

To inform the Local Plan The Crown Estate is consulting on how the site west of Blandford could accommodate new local homes.

The purpose of this consultation is to explain the ideas and thinking behind the promotion of this land for future housing, address some of local issues and concerns that have been raised and hear your views and comments.
